VIDEO: Toxic Tour: Canada's toxic legacy



On June 23, 2010, a day of G8/G20 resistance and action for environmental and climate justice, a coalition of grassroots organizers staged the Toxic Tour of Toronto to raise awareness and help expose the social / environmental impacts and criminal injustices of the global mining industry, both at home, and abroad. 75% of the world's extractive and exploration companies are based in Canada. And tar sands 'development' in Alberta is the largest, most destructive single industrial project on Earth.
